BROTHERS GAY PORN ANIME MOVIE
If you want to support them go see the movie if you don’t want to support them don’t go see the movie. You are about to enter a website that contains explicit material (pornography). The social outrage portion of it seems a little absurd to me. These are individuals whom get to make the decisions on their own who they’re going to higher as actors in their film. On the opposite end of things though if someone makes a film where they’re switching around gender and sexual orientation, you should probably see the same outrage. But if someone wants to make a film where every single actor involved in it is either gay or trans more power to them, what does it matter. I know topics like this are more complicated than such a simple statement. The comment was more of a reflection on how social media and the press sometimes tend to demonize gender or sexual orientation bending one way but not the other. Whether that actor does a great job and wins an award or not is normally irrelevant. I don’t have an opinion on this personally, but I’m pretty sure what they’re trying to say is that it is often looked down upon for white or straight people to play trans, gay or a person of color. There are definitely actors who know they type and are comfortable with it. ?Īnd yes haha that Uglytown story is quite funny. Will be interested to know how they labeled the roles.to cast. I have access to the casting breakdowns so I'll look and see if this movie pops up. Also some actors who are gay but not out shouldn't be exclude - hence why casting can't ask. Ultimately the right actor regardless of sexuality should get the part (that's why some straight actors get booked because they fit the role the best). Actors obviously want to get the part so if they are "out" then they will definitely let casting know so that they have an advantage over someone who might be in the mix but not actually gay. The rep or actor themselves has to be the one to let the CD know - casting can not ask. Casting can allude to it in the breakdown with "let us know if they are real LGBTQ". Thinking about it now.I know with sexuality technically they can't ask. Yeah if it's integral they can specify but I've seen roles that don't need to be but casting is obviously looking for a certain race. I hadn't heard anything about Bros before so I'll probably wait to see what other people think, but I do love a good rom com on a rainy day He sounds so pumped about the whole experience. The enthusiasm from this interview is infectious ngl. There are no stories about us falling in love, navigating love, dating, relationships, and you don’t realize what you haven’t gotten until you finally see it. It becomes very emotional for people because you realize: “My God, what we’ve missed!” All those years of me seeing those movies with my parents as a kid - Pretty Woman, Dirty Dancing, When Harry Met Sally, Annie Hall, I could go on - they were never about people like me. It’s a really funny movie - and it’s consistently funny, but something else is happening in it that I didn’t even expect or think about. I want to give other openly LGBTQ actors these opportunities. But on a practical level, we’re doing the first gay rom-com ever made by a major studio, and most of the characters in it are LGBTQ - there are some straight characters as well. On a cultural level, it’s a powerful statement to make.
